FUND.COM Sold For Record Breaking $10 Million

wow $10 million for just a single domain fund.com,Thats huge sale.Clek Media Inc. announced on 11th march that it has brokered the world-record sale of the domain FUND.COM for US$9,999,950 in an all-cash transaction,According to the news published on CNN.

Clek believes that it is the highest price ever paid for an Internet domain.Previous higest price according to the Guinness World Record Book was the domain “business.com”.Business.com was acqured by Ex-Disney executive, Jake Winebaum of eCompanies Ventures for $7.5 million in 1999 and was again the site was sold for $345 million to yellow pages publisher, RH Donnelly,on july 2007 which was 47 times higher than the price of domain.
